Andressa Bortolin

Andressa Bortolin Patto is the co-founder of Resolve Bureau. She is a Mediator and Brazilian Attorney, with almost 10 years of experience conciliating civil and consumer matters. She worked as a lay judge conciliator for Small Claims in Porto Alegre, Brazil. She has co-authored 2 books about Mediation in Brazil; “Paradigmas da Sociedade Contemporânea: Reflexos das Pandemias” (Contemporary Society Paradigms: Reflections of Pandemics), and “Conversas em Família” (Family Talks). She also has been co-authoring many articles about Online Dispute Resolution, such as the “ODR and Virtual Mediation: High Conflict People in Online Mediation” published on the Mediate.com website. She has given lectures and webinars, such as the International Webinar of ADR to the Superior Court of Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil (available here at 2:56min).

Andressa has a Master’s of Law (LLM) in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University and has been working as a Mediator in South California since 2019. She has served the Small Claims of LA County as a mediator from the Center for Conflict Resolution, successfully mediating several civil cases. She also worked at the APADRC (Asian Pacific Dispute Resolution Center), and at the MCLA (Mediation Center of Los Angeles), which provides mediation services to the LA Superior Court. She currently is a member of the American Bar Association as an international attorney and a member of the SCMA (Southern California Mediation Association).

She has a passion for helping people to overcome lengthy conflicts from the courts, bringing it to a more personal, effective, and simple way, through mediation.
